In the early years of “The Truck” the group felt like “The Truck” logo needed a refresh to something more universally relatable. Truck Family Team Member Dennis Zinkon, “Zinky” was the mastermind of what we now see and use as “The Truck” logo.
In 2015, around the same time we refreshed the logo, we tragically lost our dear friend Zinky to pulmonary embolism. We unveiled the new logo in his memory and decided we needed to get involved and do something to always honor the incredible life he lived.
That’s when Zinky Day was born.
The funds raised during the first Zinky Day were donated to Wolfson Children’s Hospital, in Jacksonville, Florida and The National Blood Clot Alliance. The Truck established Truck Charities to continue their charitable endeavors.

We’re fundraising to fight cancer!
In partnership with Golf Fights Cancer and PGA TOUR Commissioner Jay Monahan, The Truck was selected in January 2020 to represent PGA TOUR Charities in the 2020 Boston Marathon. Due to the Boston Marathon being canceled for 2020, The Truck completed a Virtual Boston Marathon on September 14th through the streets of Jacksonville, Florida alongside cancer survivor Marissa Hollenbacher. All fundraising efforts will continue to benefit cancer related charities, including The Tom Coughlin Jay Fund Foundation as our primary beneficiary.
